Haiku

I think maybe I have the haiku pattern down, if not always the complete attitude. I left a note for HH (handsome husband) about supper before I rushed out to cover a meeting and here's how it came out:

Supper in oven
and on top of the stove
for you to enjoy.

Yesterday's effort was more traditional:

Blown by the May breeze
a snow of apple petals
covers the green lawn.

Much as I enjoy haiku, perhaps I should explore another form. Ah--a challenge!
